administrivia and death of a sunfish

I came within a hair's breadth of timing out Caleb Lewis for his
anti-Disney diatribe.  I'm not going to be so lenient the next time;
if he sends a message like that again (all flame and no dinosaur
science) he'll be off in a corner for a week. I appreciate the gentle
way that others expressed their disapproval. I'd rather we didn't
have such things to deal with, but I think it was dealt with in public
fairly well, and I thought you should know I also took some private
steps to prevent recurrence. Also I want to make it clear to everyone
that that sort of thing is unacceptable...

In other news I have to sadly report that lepomis.psych.upenn.edu is
currently (and possibly permanently) down. Publicly accessible
archives from before June 1996 can now only be found at the Cleveland
Museum. The sunfish served us well while we were there. I hope all
of you old-timers will allow a moment of silence to commemorate the
old RS6000's apparent demise. The poor girl was just barely seven
years old... (Alright, I clearly spend too much time around
computers...)
