BUT
T. rex, as a proper name, is never plural.
(Plurals are okay for "common" or vernacular names, but these haven't been
standardized for nonavian dinos, although "king tyrannosaurs" or "king
tyrant lizards", or just "tyrannosaurs" might suffice).
