Bernie Wrightson did a recent short series with his Captain Stern? (gone
blank on the name) character from the Heavy Metal movie using a time
machine to go back and mess with dinosaurs (and there's zombie dinosaurs
too!) with far too much grass in the Cretaceous-beautiful dinosaurs, by
the way

Several of the Byrne (and later artists such as Bolton) X-men comics
have cross-overs with Kazar and everybody goes to the Savage Land to
fight Sauron-not the Tolkein character but some scientist horribly
mutated into a pterosaur with a loincloth.

And -right on the edge of being a dinosaur- there's Art Adam's Godzilla
one-shot comic (FABULOUS art! BAD dinosaur!) from Dark Horse (I think)
