Re: Accuracy

Maybe I should be embarrassed for knowing all this, but what the heck.

Sheena, Queen of the Jungle was the star of Jungle Comics and later her
own comic book for Fiction House comics during the 1940's and early
1950's.

There was a television show featuring hmmmm.... Irish McCullough (sp?)..
that was broadcast for several years during the early 1950's much to the
consternation of mothers everywhere.

There were not, to the best of my recollection, any feature films at
that time, but in 1984 Tanya Roberts made a film that was so unmemorable
that I can't remember ever seeing it.

Rulah, The Jungle Goddess, was one of many Sheena comic book rip-offs in
the 1940's which fell under the rubric "headlight" comics, and I'm
sorry, but I'm not going to explain what that means.

To the best of my knowledge, there were absolutely no dinosaurs in any
of these comic books! There! See! I mentioned dinosaurs!
