I too have great admiration for the design of Tyrannosaurus in the JP
features. It is still a mystery to me who was actually responsible for the
design. The animation model for the Tippett studio's PREHISTORIC BEAST was
also very fine.I must say, however, that each time I see the animation model
of Tyrannosaurus in THE ULTIMATE T.REX (which is run quite often on the
Discovery channel) I like it more and more.It's not as lean as the JP rex-
it's got a big burly neck, but it has a very well thought, natural-feeling
design.I would certainly like to see more from the folks who did it.
