You mean of _Equus quagga_ Nick. _burchelli_ was named later, and is a
subspecies. Oops.. forgot to mention the obligatory dinosaur.
Err... Hey, here in the Uk we have a sort of TV quiz show called 'Mastermind' -
the sort of name the BBC thought up for TV show's back in their 1950s heyday.
It's terribly boring and formal and has contestants sitting in a black leather
seat answering questions about a chosen specialist subject. One contestant from
this week's show answered questions on THEROPOD DINOSAURS. Yikes! It made me so
nervous - and I suddenly realised that I actually know very little about
dinosaurs. But I needn't have worried - the questions were easy, and I got every
one right. They included things like 'Which Mongolian theropod was found locked
in a fighting posture with the herbivorous dinosaur _Protoceratops_?', 'What
does the word Theropoda literally mean?'. The contestant did well, but didn't
get them all right, and let the side down by not remembering _Giganotosaurus
carolinii_. What's worse, the host (Magnus Magnusson), said it 'Gigantosaurus'..
And I always thought the questions on Mastermind were really technical and in
depth.
