Ellenberger continues to consider _Cosesaurus_ a "proto-avian," and has a
large monograph either published or in press redescribing the specimen. It is
not at all clear that _Cosesaurus_ is a prolacertian, contra the "new
studies." The supposed feather impressions, however, may not be real.
