    I thought the implication was pretty clear that the T.rex did it.  
Remember, the T.rex was locked up in that big iron cage (which, if you
remeber, was sitting there trashed on the deck after the boat crashed into
the dock).  The tranquilizer that the big-game hunter gave it made it stop
breathing, so they gave it a counter-drug of some kind that turned it into
"a locamotive".  It broke free, killed the crew, and was locked into the
cargo bay by one of the crew-members before he died with the door
controller in his hand.  My question is, how did the rex get its head into
the cabin to eat they guy at the steering wheel without smashing it to
bits?  Was the guy so intent on steering that he didn't notice the
tyrannosaur was loose right up until the point it ate him?  And if the
other guy lived to close the bay doors and trap the rex, why did he die?
I guess he was fatally wounded before he did it, or something.
