Whoa!  Washington may be bereft of DINOSAUR fossils, but is not without
other fossils.  From Cambrian trilobites to Holocene mammoths, we have
fossils from just about every epoch.  Not sure about Triassic.

Washington has excellent Eocene > Miocene marine invertebrates and
vertebrates, and wonderful Eocene plant fossils.
