BTW, what is the current opinion on whether the plates of _Stegosaurus_ were
covered with horn? I assume the tail spikes would be, as would the splates
of _Huayangosaurus_ and _Dacentrurus_ (and the body armor of the ankylosaurs,
to carry it back one more evolutionary step); but I usually see _Stegosaurus_
restored with its plates covered in some sort of thick skin (a la John
Sibbick).
