Totally astounding that the foremost T. rex experts, with a combined 275 
years of education and experience, would not have readied defensive 
strategies in the event of a T. rex pursuit.  They might try:  bad taste, 
foul odor, stealthy nest building, hirsutism, predator satiation (could it 
eat just one?), a frilly starched collar, biting it in the face, or standing 
ones ground in the belief that the charge is only a bluff. 

     What about employing a mouse as weapon against the unfortunate biped?  
     How about reasoning with the huge beast and filling it in on its true 
     ecological role of scavenger (this, by the way, is why a *truly* 
     Horner-esque character should be pursued and eaten in the third movie, 
     IMHO)?
     
     Oh well -- so much for my self-imposed moratorium on further Lost 
     World posts.
