Dinosaurs in San Francisco

Starting this Saturday (June 7) and running through September 1, 1997,
the Academy of Sciences in San Francisco will be hosting an exhibit of
dynamic dinosaurs.

Animatronics include:

Maiasaur and young
Tenontosaurus 9being eaten by-
Deinonychus
Pteronadon (sic)
an ankylosaur of some sort
a thick-legged therapod of some sort

in all they say more than 10 (ooh)

Mostly for kids, there will be in a velcro wall in which you can fit
together 'bones',
a 'dig recreation' where you can dig fossils, 3d fossil reconstruction
of a Stegasaur
skeleton (I think it's the wooden snap-together type), and making your
own hand 'fossil'.

Barely more info is here:
http://www.calacademy.org/ (though there are some pictures)

I will occasionally be there as a'dig captain"-or in other words, Joe
Volunteer.
(like this Sunday for part of the day)
