Thanx for picking up my slack response on this topic... I've been preoccupied
with some long work hours, and haven't had time to keep up with my e-mail.

To John Bois...  I agree you only need to guarantee a minimum survival rate,
and either large reproduction or close supervision of offspring can
accomplish this, but as has already been noted (during my slack period here
;-) high r strategists are more common.
