new dinosaur (plus) exhibit

For those of you who might be in the Lexington, KY vicinity this summer, our
new exhibit is definitely worth seeing. We have collaborated with some
private collectors and the Mesalands Dinosaur Museum to mount a wonderful
collection of fossils. The exhibit was curated by Glenn Storrs of the
Cincinnati Museum of Natural History and Adrian Hunt of the Mesalands
Dinosaur Museum. A sampling:

Fossils:

Juvenile Triceratops skull (a very nice one, too)
Much Edmontosaurus material
8-10 footprints and trackways
2 Confuciusornis (one prepared, one not)
7' x 10' wall of Green River fish including rays
24 dinosaur eggs, several types--spectacular display
several meteorites, a bunch of tektites
2 Pachycephalosaurus domes (will be installed this week)
Many teeth, claws, coprolites, gastroliths
Skulls of White River mammals
Skulls of cave bear, dire wolf, small sabertooth cat
Insects in amber

Replicas:

Deinosuchus skull (with jaw motion)
Stegosaurus: head, neck, plates, tail, thagomizers
Edaphosaurus skeleton
Tyrannosaurus, hadrosaur and ceratopsian footprints
Camarasaurus skull
Pterosaur reconstructions (sculptures)

As well as local artists, we have art by Tracy Ford and Mike Skrepnick, and
a Louis Psihoyos (I can never spell that) photo. The exhibit will be open
all summer, 7 days a week. If you want more information, please contact me
