Lost World movies

How about Ian’s daughter being able to stow away in the trailer without being
detected or missed for an unknown number of days? Was there no customs
inspection? Were things in the trailer not secured before shipping to
safeguard valuable equipment? Did her mother not alert the police and have
an arrest warrant out for Ian for kidnapping?

This reminds me of dialogue in “A Few Good Men.” “The truth, you can’t stand
the truth!” It seems as if Hollywood doesn’t think that moviegoers can stand
an intelligent movie about dinosaurs and has to hoke it up.

Was the hand on the ship’s wheel the same one that washed up on shore in
“Jaws?”
