Unenlagia
I got my copy of the Unenlagia article today. What an interesting
animal.
But they got something on the shilloutte wrong. The humerous is
pointing the wrong way. The delta-pectral crest (that bump on the front
of the humerus) is pointing the wrong direction. If the arm/wing is
resting or in a down stroke the d-p should be pointing down, but if it
is in an up wing beat it should be pointing up. The arm is in a resting
position, so it should be pointing DOWN. I've seen mistake a lot, even
Marsh had an Ichthyorins drawn this way, then corrected.
It still reminds me of the Madagascarian sickle clawed theropod/bird.
And you can just about make Unquillosaurus to look like Unenlagia.
