Scientist_ (Sigma Xi, the Scientific Research
Society) contains several particularly fascinating articles. Kevin Padian's
review of Feduccia's _Origin and Evolution of
Birds_ (pp. 178 - 180) is one. Another is the cover article: "The Origin of
Animal Body Plans," by Douglas Erwin, James
Valentine, and David Jablonski (pp. 126 - 137).
