Hawks (buzzard, sparrowhawk, kestrel and others) regurgitate pellets, as
also other birds do, like crows and herons: as Bang and Dahlstrom underline,
"in contrast to the position in owls, the digestive juice of birds of prey
can dissolve bones, and their pellets will therefore be found to contain no
bones or only a few half-digested fragments".
What data do you refer to, stating that this is a myth?
