re: dinosaur weights (2nd attempt)

I originally sent this reply out on the 24th and as of this morning (26th) I
have yet to see it posted. So I will try again...

<< By definition, it should be exactly 1000 kg/m^3. But it's not. Anybody out
there know why not? I've been wondering for years.

Water has a maximum density at 4 degrees C. At that temp, it's density is
1000Kg/m^3. As temperature rises or drops below this value, water begins to
increase in volume thus lowering it's density. But for most purposes, even at
room temp unless you have to be precise, the above value is generally
utilized.

Hope this helps.
