Tooth decay, how long does it take?

Yes this does have to do with dinosaurs.

I don't think dinosaurs had decaying teeth because they were constantly
being replaced.

I want to know if any one on the dinonet knows how long it takes teeth
to decay. I know infants, kids, teenagers and adult humans get tooth
decay, and mammals get tooth decay, but what about the reptilia?

IMHO it has a lot to do with what is artifically put in our food. I
know of severial cases of prehistoric man that has tooth decay as well
as mammals, as well as with the teeth not being replaced and just
roting away.
