Phylogenetic taxonomy in botany
Hi!
Not dinosaurs, but relevant, since this subject comes up so often on this
list. In case you didn't see it, there's a nice paper in Systematic Biology
46(2):313-331 by Cantino et al., "A comparison of phylogenetic
nomenclature with the current system: a botanical case study." If you think
phylogenetic taxonomy creates more instability than traditional Linnaean
taxonomy, think again after reading this one.
