Dr. Carlton Brett and I  have volunteered to chair a poster session for
the up-coming AAPG Annual Meeting which is being held in Salt Lake City,
May 17-20, 1998. The poster session is #P75, Statigraphic Applications of
Taphofacies and Fossil Diagenesis.  The abstracts are due on October 1,
1997 and need to be submitted on a form requested from Sandy Hensley;
phone (918)560-2641 or email" shensley@aapg.org".  We wanted to get this
information anyone who may be interested in submitting an abstract.  Could
you forward this message to anyone you feel would like to see it?  If you,
or anyone else, has questions for Carl, please contact me and I will make
sure they are addressed.
