Heavy question

First off, I don't want to clutter up the list with what sounds to me 
like pseudoscience, so if you do respond, please do so OFF LIST.

I've heard bits and pieces here and there about this gravitation 
theory of the dinos' demise.  Well, actually, that's about all that 
I've heard, that somehow the Earth's gravitation mysteriously leapt 
in intensity and the poor dinos couldn't cope.  If someone would like 
to fill me on the proposed mechanism, I'd be obliged.  I won't make 
fun of you, whether you are a proponent of the theory or not.
