An abject apology

I would like to apologize to everyone for sharing an off-topic joke I 
thought amusing which was sent to me at a very low time in my life.  I have 
been pilloried by one person who claims that he received a large number of 
"atta-boys" from other list members.  No one else has thought to either 
post to the list or e-mail me personally to object.  I have corresponded 
with Mickey and with his advice and friendship in mind I am posting this 
sincere apology for inflicting my post on you all. I will confine my 
participation from now on to reading only.
