Since I was one of The Dinosaur Studio crew that mounted all the skeletons
for the AMNH/Lost World Exhibit, I can assure you that _Monolophosaurus_
appears only once; it's just that the skull of _Dilophosaurus_ is so badly
crushed and distorted that it appears to have only a single crest. We
wondered when we were mounting it why a better skeleton hadn't been
procured, since this one is for all practical purposes unrecognizable as
the animal it is proclaimed to be. A higher cost for a better mount is the
only answer we could come up with.
