Bipedalism Revisited
On a topic which has lately been quite popular, can anyone out there
answer any of the following:
1) Do sprawling reptiles run quadrapedally (ie. with suspended phase)?
2) When sprawling reptiles do locomote rapidly in a quadrapedal stance, is there
a point at which they stiffen their spines to limit lateral flexion?
3) What's a good ref on the musculature of herp (inc. paleoherp) limb girdles?
4) Can anyone, off list, identify for methe individual listed in George's post
on the Bakker "Megalosaur" ref as "Southwell, B."?
