NBC seeks the wrath of scientists everywhere (again)

For those of you who've missed the sad news, NBC is planning to re-air
"The Mysterious Origins of Man" on June 8th (all howlermonkeys should
note the irony of the chosen date!).  I have some details from Jere
Lipps' who's been trying to organize a response.  If you're not on
PaleoNet or VRTPaleo, let me know and I'll send you what he's sent
there.  For those of you who missed out on the fun the last time,
there are also web sites which contain detailed rebuttals to this
supposed "documentary" narrated by Charlton Heston.  There's also a
web site hosted by the producers who will give you some of their views
about the piece.  Let me know if you're interested in looking into it.
Otherwise I'd rather not entertain discussions about it here again.
My purpose now is only to spread the warning and report the call to
arms.
