RE: cheap books at Borders
Also frequently found at Borders is the compilation from the symposium
on dinosaur systematics (the one with GSP's three Tyrannosaurs on the
cover). It's from the series that includes _The Beginnings of the Age
of Dinosaurs_ and _Dinosaur Eggs and Babies_, which happens to be one
of the better series available (although why it's at Borders is beyond
me). The volume may be a bit dated (Tom Holtz), but it has some great
pictures of teeth.
_Dinosaur!_ is rather dated, and seems to be aligned on a rather
"British" plane of dinostudies, but it is a fabulous introduction to
the science, and I recommend it, especially as a first book for ages
12-45. But do pick it up on the cheap.
