Hi All!

My name is Lora Nelson. I am a graduate of the University of Toronto,
in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I have a BSc. in Biogeography and
Biophysical Systems. While I mainly took Physical Geography, Geology,
Ecology and Botany courses, I also took a couple of courses in Vertebrate
Paleontology. My professors were Tom Parsons and Rufous Churcher in the
Zoology Department and Dr. Edmund at the Royal Ontario Museum. These
courses, as well as trips to Dino exhibits at museums in Canada,
the U.S. and Great Britain, whetted my interest in dinosaurs. When I
heard about this list I decided to join - and am very glad I did.

Interests and hobbies. Rockhounding, birdwatching, anything horticultural,
fossils, dinosaurs and anything to do with nature, plants, and animals.

Present occupation. Taking the Diploma in Horticulture from the
University of Guelph and trying to start up my own business in
environmental educational materials for children and adults.
