BIO - TWC
My name is Terry W. Colvin and I work as a "steenkeen" contractor. We support
the Joint Staff (Joint Chiefs of Staff) by testing Department of Defense and
other government agencies for procedural and technical interoperability. After
the fiascoes in the Iranian desert (1980), Grenada (1983), and Panama (1989) the
Pentagon and White House planners invested more people and money; semi-automated
planning, sensing, and shooting (or not) is a tricky business.
I enjoy surface archeology and "studying" fringe science subjects. I'm retired
military [U.S. Army Signal Corps/Strategic Services], a Vietnam veteran, father
of five (My Three Sons are attending Arizona State University), and married 23
years to Ruk-Long (means infatuation in Thai).
On-line I have assisted NASA in exchanging questions and answers between K-12
students and teachers and NASA scientists on the TOPEX/Poseidon Project. Also,
I try to cross-fertilize between various mailing lists. Ain't the Internet
grand?
