Dinotopia

To all:

Okay, we all know that Dinotopia itself is not real in the slightest.  But I
have been looking at James Gurney's fantastically imaginative and vivid
paintings and wondered something about his dinosaurs, pterosaurs, et cetera:
are they anatomically correct? Do their features and details live up to
science today?

I don't completely know, but his paintings are pretty darn cool!
