Need Help
I just got this message today from a student who seems to be doing some
nice research for a 6th grader. I like to see students doing this kind of
thing but I am afraid I will not be of much help to here.
Unfortunately I don't have any mounted tyrannosaurid specimens here at the
U of I Museum of Natural History so I cannot supply her with the
information on leg length and foot length she would like to do
tyrannosaurid gaits. Can anyone help her out.
Perhaps Dinogeorge or Tom Holtz (or anyone else interested?) might have
something to offer. Our only "specimen" so far is the tooth we brought back
from our Hell Creek dig last year. It is near a show of other bones, but
may just be a shed tooth. So I pass this along in hopes someone might have
information they would care to share with Annette?
Thanks
Russ Jacobson
