The problem is that none of the photos of the specimen remotely resembles
this figure, which is taken from the original paper by Yadagiri & Ayyasami.
The specimens were not prepared when the paper was written. In lieu of
traveling to India, maybe a plesiosaur expert should take a look at the
photos (not the line drawings) in the paper and see what he or she can come
up with.
