As Ostrom observed, there is not one phalanx preserved from a third digit
from either manus in the holotype, which is peculiar because that's the digit
that would probably have had the greatest number of phalanges. The third
metacarpal, however, is preserved, and it is diminutive and seemingly lacks
the distal articular surface.
