flowers in the cretaceous

A recent NY Times article reports on a find of several interesting things
from 90-95 Ma amber from NJ.  Included in the finds were:
1.  oak flowers (3 clusters) ergo flowers are well established by
the late cretaceous.
2.  a mosquito with mouth parts long enough to pierce dino skin (hey
shades of JP)
3.  a weevil with preserved muscle tissue from which they hope to get dna
4.  a tick with good mouth parts
5.  a moth with a biting mouth part thought to be transitional from 
the early biting forms to the later nectar draining forms.
