So far as I know, no dinosaur bones have ever been found in Indiana. The
reason is pretty simple: dinosaurs are Mesozoic animals, and there are no
Mesozoic strata in Indiana, or anywhere in the entire Old Northwest
(Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota).
