Dan thought about this and decided that if they were indeed in the same
genus, they would certainly also be in the same species, which would retain
the epithet _maximus_. Since _Saurophagus_ is preoccupied, the name
_Saurophaganax_ would have priority as first replacement name. He left it to
someone else to choose a replacement name for the _nomen dubium_
_Saurophagus_, still required under the Code.
