RE: Oxxxygen in amber

David Carlisle speculates that algal (green?) activity in amber could lead
to increased O2 levels inside amber.  Agreed photosyn. produces O2
but when the sunlight goes  away the algae would use up the O2 and
emit CO2.   Insofar as I am aware no green plant activity can increase the 
atmospheric oxygen %level  to more than what they are due to some simple laws of
physics.The volume or quantity perhaps but not the %conc.
 Back to the basic premise: assuming no bacteria or algae,
the fact that the O2%  was measured at 35% versus 21% in today's
earth atmosphere  indicates a higher concentration when the amber was formed.
