It may turn out that Archaeopterix (since we're most likely talking about this
one anyway) had a more advanced wing than anyone has anticipated.  Has anyone
noticed that all the specimens of Archy have the arm bones bent at a sharp
angle?  Modern birds have the same morphology.  It may be interesting to take a 
detailed look, and compare the wings of Archy to a modern bird.
