I don't know that these are necessarily requirements for flight.  Certainly,
many sea birds do not have grasping feet, and birds such as the albatross do
not make particularly elegant landings.  I did ponder the idea, but when I
posted the message I decided against any foot-requirements because of the sea
birds.
