     here's one, I think
     
       If rats are listed as one of the major contributors to the 
     endangerment of such things as the wildlife in Hawaii, and as a 
     contributor to such things as the extinction of the Dodo, wouldn't it 
     follow that it was a carnivorous herbivore? 
       Or is it so UNspecialised as to what it eats that it doesn't fit in 
     a niche of herbivore-only or carnivore-only? 
       Or is it a competitor in these habitats, rather than a predator?
     
     I nominate the rat.
