Loch Ness is much colder than the coastal waters of British Columbia, deeper too - about 700 feet. Antarctic coastal waters are estimated to have been about 18 C during the late Maastrichian, from oxygen-18 data, so the temperatures were p erhaps higher than the north slope of Alaska, where dinos are well-known.
