Actually, you still haven't been looking at the right refs.  :-)
Pseudosuchia is phylogenetically defined as crocodilians and all taxa
sharing a more recent ancestor with crocs than with birds.  The taxon
"Crurotarsi", which some prefer, is a junior objective synonym.
