distributution..." - Isn't wide climatic distribution of greater importance to 
any given species survival? You can live all over the globe and exist in a s    
 
single climate. If the global climate alters, you're history. If, however, you
live in many climates and the global climate is altered, you relocate.

re: baby raptors - Is there any evidence out there that any species extinct
or otherwise is capable of producing a quantity of ofspring which could support
canibalism as an exclusive dietary intake?
