RE: FWD: Idaho fossil displays?
Brigham Young University has an exhibit.
Hagerman Fossil Beds are Pliocene and there is an large avian record from
these deposits.
Idaho State University has an exhibit with a Bison latifrons that dinosaur
enthusiasts might enjoy for comparative purposes.
Fossil Butte focuses on Green River Eocene.
All are worth the effort to see.

This was something I was hoping someone here might be able to answer for
Tim.
He posted this on Alt.Dinosaur, and I haven't the faintest idea what to
tell
him. Any suggestions?---Betty

I am traveling to Idaho Falls, Id. this summer. I had planned to visit
Dinosaur NM but have decided that the trip may be too far. I am interested
in alternate places to visit. I understand that Univesity of Utah has a
display, is this so? How about the Hagerman Fossil Beds or Fossil Butte?
Are there dinosaur remains there? I would appreciate any advice.
