Ok, guess I chime in here.

One of my favorite "Peanuts" cartoons (Charles Schultz) many years back 
featured Lucy, telling a story to one of the other characters. Charlie 
Brown was listening nearby . . .

Lucy: "The cavemen were all sitting around their campfire.  Suddenly, a
giant Thesaurus jumped out of the forest." 

Charlie Brown: "Volume 1 or Volume 2?"
