Aust., N.Z., Sing. Trip

I'm an amateur 'geologist' with interests in minerals and fossils.
I will be in Singapore, Australia, and New Zealand on business during 3
to 6 weeks in mid June and July.  In particular Singapore, Canberra, and
one or more of Sydney, Perth or Melbourne, plus Wellington.

I'm looking for geo-related activities within the cities accessible by
public transit or taxi - museums, private collections, mineral or fossil
dealers, and used bookstores with geology, mineralogy, or paleo titles.
Because of the travel between cities, I will have few free weekends, so
activities must be in the late afternoon or evening.  Any suggestions
are greatly appreciated.
