J.P.: Script pretty good, but...

OK, I'll jump into the J.P. discussion.  Although I ignore all (or most) of
the inaccuracies, one does make me wince.  At the beginning of the movie 
(the Snakewater, Montana excavation scene), they are using seismology to
image the Velociraptor still buried in the ground.  The guy running the 
computer tells the group "the radar bounces the image back".
  I don't lose any sleep over it though.  I read in a writer's trade journal
that Crichton may have another J.P. book out in the fall.  All rumor, of 
course.
