Here's one of those self-serving announcements that I make from time to
time:  This very week Franklin Watts is publishing a book, The Great Hunters:
Meat-Eating Dinosaurs and Their World, by James O. Farlow and Ralph E.
Molnar, with illustrations by Bob Walters and Brian Franczak.  The book
is in the same series as my earlier On the Tracks of Dinosaurs and
Dave Weishampel's Plant-Eating Dinosaurs.  It is written for upper elementary
and junior high level readers.  The art work in Great Hunters is, if I
can boast a bit, superb.  Bob did some gorgeous restorations of various
kinds of theropods, and we include a lot of photos of real specimens.
The text ain't bad either, if I do say so for myself.
