PHYSIOLOGY...YAAWWWN..

While being a life-long advocate of sustained high metabolic rates in ALL 
dinosaurs, recent studies of histology have raised most profound complications.
Are things really as clear cut as some of us'd like to think? 

Would DNA studies prove anything other than relationships? Histological studies
of certain Mesozoic birds suggest that they were not sustained endotherms, and
if this was true of Mesozoic birds...ohh, I'm getting confused now..

Anyone else wanna figure it out?
